* I recently presented at the Young Authors, Young Artists Writer's Conference in Rochester, MN on May 21 and 22, 2008

* My latest published books through Heinmann-Raintree are Illness and Moving, part of a "Real Deal" series.

* Also I have finished a piece for Womeninc, a premier magazine for southern MN. The piece is included in the October issue.

* My writing for the Capstone Press and Picture Window Books were featured in a Children's Literature Network article.

On July 14, 2008 I had a school visit at the Franklin Elementary Summer School. I read my book Bugs A to Z and for snack time the kids shared Bug Cookies. I left behind a work sheet for the teacher to copy and hand out, titled: What is My Favorite Letter of the Alphabet.

In October I am scheduled to present at the Conference for Young Artists (for students grades K-8).
The Conference for Young Artists features a variety of topics in the areas of visual and performing arts. I will be working with students sharing my love of photography.

I have two new books published by Heinemann – Raintree.
    They cover topics of Illness and Moving.
